TUESDAY 09/12/2024: God, Our Refuge

Scripture: “You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm.” ISAIAH 25 verse 4

Isaiah describes God as a refuge for the vulnerable, a safe place in times of distress. This imagery is comforting during Advent, a season when many feel the weight of challenges.

Christ came into the world not in power but in humility, offering Himself as a refuge for all. He understands our struggles and invites us to find rest and peace in Him.

Reflect on how you can make God your refuge this week. Are there burdens you need to surrender? Advent is a reminder that His arms are always open to provide shelter and strength.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for being my refuge and shelter. In times of distress, help me to trust in Your protection and care. Teach me to find peace in Your presence and to extend Your love to others in need. AMEN
