WEDNESDAY 27/11/2024 DAY 3 – GRACE FOR THE UNLIKELY

“Salmon was the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab…” – MATTHEW 1 VERSE 5

Rahab’s inclusion in Jesus’ genealogy is remarkable. She was a Canaanite woman and a former prostitute, yet she became part of God’s redemptive plan. This is the beauty of grace—it reaches the unlikely, the unworthy, and the outcast.

During Advent, we can reflect on how God chooses people not for their perfection but for their willingness to trust Him. Rahab’s faith saved her and placed her in the lineage of Christ. Similarly, our faith allows us to experience God’s transforming grace, no matter our past.

Think of someone in your life who seems unlikely to experience God’s grace. How can you show Christ’s love to them this Advent season? Like Rahab, God calls us not because of who we are but because of who He is—a God of infinite grace.

PRAYER: Gracious God, thank You for extending Your grace to the unlikely, including me. Help me see others through Your eyes and share Your love this Advent season. May I live as a living testimony of Your redeeming grace. AMEN
