Thursday 05/12/2024: FAITH THAT IS BLESSED
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfil His promises to her!” – Luke 1:45
Mary’s faith is a cornerstone of the Advent story. She trusted God’s promise, even when it required great courage and sacrifice. Elizabeth acknowledges Mary’s faith and declares her blessed.
Faith is the foundation of our journey with Christ. Like Mary, we are called to trust God’s promises, even when we don’t understand His plans. Advent reminds us to renew our faith and believe that God is faithful.
Reflect today on God’s promises in your life. How can you trust Him more deeply in this season of waiting?
Prayer: Faithful God, thank You for Your promises that never fail. Strengthen my faith this Advent and help me trust You with my whole heart. Teach me to believe in Your plans, even when they are beyond my understanding. AMEN
