MONDAY 09/12/2024: A Song of Praise
Scripture: “Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You and praise Your name, for in perfect faithfulness You have done wonderful things.” Isaiah 25 verse 1
The third week of Advent is often marked by joy. Isaiah 25 begins with a song of praise, exalting God for His faithfulness and wonderful works. This prophetic passage celebrates a future where God’s justice and salvation will reign.
Advent reminds us to pause and praise God for His goodness, even as we wait for the fullness of His promises. Like Isaiah, we can reflect on how God’s faithfulness has been evident in our lives and give Him glory.
Take a moment to consider the “wonderful things” God has done for you. Whether it’s a recent blessing or His enduring presence in a difficult season, Advent is a time to rejoice in His steadfast love.
Prayer: Faithful God, thank You for Your wonderful works and unfailing love. Help me to see Your hand in my life and to praise You with a heart full of joy. May my words and actions glorify Your name this Advent. AMEN.
