SUNDAY 01/12/2024 DAY 7: IMMANUEL, GOD WITH US
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel (which means ‘God with us’).” Matthew 1 Verse 23
The genealogy in Matthew culminates in Jesus, Immanuel—God with us. This is the heart of Advent: God dwelling in our brokenness. His presence brings hope, peace, and joy, reminding us that we are never alone.
Advent is a time to celebrate God’s nearness. No matter how dark or difficult our circumstances, Immanuel assures us that God is with us, offering His love and guidance. Let this truth fill your heart with joy as you prepare for Christmas.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank You for being Immanuel, God with us. Help me to experience the fullness of Your presence this Advent season. Fill my heart with hope, peace, and joy as I celebrate Your coming. May I share the light of Your love with others. AMEN
