FRIDAY 29/11/2024 DAY 5: THE HOPE OF REDEMPTION
“Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth…” Matthew 1 Verse 5
Ruth’s story is one of redemption. A Moabite widow without hope, she became part of the lineage of the Messiah through God’s providence. Her life reminds us that God can redeem even the most hopeless circumstances.
Advent is a time to celebrate the hope we have in Christ’s redeeming work. Just as Ruth’s story was transformed, Jesus offers to redeem our brokenness and make all things new. No situation is too hopeless for Him to restore.
Consider the areas in your life where you long for redemption. Bring them to Jesus, the ultimate Redeemer, and trust Him to bring beauty out of ashes.
PRAYER: Redeeming God, thank You for Your power to restore brokenness. I bring the areas of my life that need healing and transformation to You. This Advent, help me to trust in Your redeeming power and to share the hope of Christ with others. AMEN
