THURSDAY 28/11/2024 DAY 4 – GOD’S TIMING IS PERFECT
“But when the set time had fully come, God sent His Son.” Galatians 4 Verse 4
The generations listed in Matthew’s genealogy span centuries, marked by long periods of waiting and silence. Yet, God’s timing was perfect. Jesus came at exactly the right moment in history to fulfil God’s promises.
Advent teaches us to wait with expectation. Waiting is not easy, but it is often during these times that God does His deepest work in us. Just as a farmer waits for the harvest, trusting in unseen growth, we are called to trust in God’s perfect timing in our lives.
What are you waiting for this Advent? A breakthrough, a healing, an answer to prayer? Trust that God is never late. He is always on time and working in ways we cannot always see.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect timing. Help me to trust You in seasons of waiting and to remember that You are always at work. Teach me patience and strengthen my faith as I await Your promises. AMEN
