Counselling
TYPES OF INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING
I envisage individual counselling as a one-on-one discussion between me as counsellor and you the client, who is the person seeking treatment. This will be done through or phone or/and video contact between me, the councillor, and you the client.
We will form an alliance, relationship or bond that enables secrecy, trust and personal growth. I will focus on homesickness, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage and relationship challenges, parenting problems, school difficulties, etc.
GOAL The goal of the counselling is to listen through your specific concerns and to help with the healing process and move towards a more productive and healthy lives. I will be you-driven and will focus on your specific goals.

SESSION DURATION
Individual sessions typically last between 50 and 60 minutes.
The frequency and duration of counselling sessions will depend largely on your needs, treatment goals, and progress.
Many concerns are readily resolved with two or three counselling sessions, and other chronic or more complex concerns require long-term commitment and therefore need more than two or three counselling sessions before improvement is realized.
